CAUTION: It has come to our attention that there are third-party bill payment companies / web sites that may be giving the impression that they are in some way affiliated or partnered with the Gladeville Utility District. Please be advised that they in fact ARE NOT in any way affiliated or partnered with the District and that they have not been authorized by the District to collect utility charges on our behalf. If you go to such web sites and want to pay your water bill, it is our understanding that you will be required to provide your personal and credit or debit card information or your banking information, then they will either pay your water bill and may charge you a fee for paying it or they will direct you to our web site where you will pay your water bill as usual, but they may still charge you a fee for this transaction. In addition, it is our further understanding that payments made by going through these third-party companies / web sites may not actually be credited to your account for three or four days following the transaction, rather than being credited the following day as it is if you pay your bill by going directly to the Gladeville Utility District’s web site. Such a delay could result in late fees or even disconnection of service for nonpayment, depending on the timing of your payment. Please keep in mind that the Gladeville Utility District DOES NOT charge a fee for any payments made using a credit card or debit card, whether you make the payment in person, over the phone or directly through the Gladeville Utility District’s website. Also, keep in mind that since any fees you may be charged by such third-party bill payment companies are not paid to the Gladeville Utility District, we will not be able to credit your account to reflect the amount of such fees or other user charges imposed by those companies. If you elect to use third-party bill-payment companies / web sites to pay your water bill, we urge that you exercise extreme caution in doing so and that you have a thorough understanding of any fees that may be applicable and the time frame in which your water bill will actually be paid. Please understand that payment will not be credited to your account until it is received in our office during our regular office hours.
